Come train with our star-studded faculty of Broadway artists.
Pure Broadway magic. A weekend you will never forget.
Broadway Homecoming is an exclusive weekend in New York City for musical theater students (ages 12 to 18) and their parents.
It’s all happening in the heart of Manhattan – next door to the very theaters that house Broadway blockbusters like Hamilton and Wicked.
- Broadway Homecoming begins with a welcome celebration and mind-body warm-up.
- Then, students experience dance, voice, and acting masterclasses.
- Each student gets coached by our star-studded faculty of Broadway performers, directors, choreographers, and casting professionals.
- The weekend culminates with a Sharecase Performance where students show off what they’ve learned. Parents, come watch—and give a round of applause!
- And did we mention that you get to attend a Broadway show?
This is the ultimate musical theater experience for students who love to sing, dance, and act.
You will leave this weekend feeling motivated, inspired, with new skills—and new friends.
How many students will be there?
We ensure that each student receives personalized attention and coaching. We know each and every student by name. When you train with us, you are family.

Letter from Robert
I want to shout it from the rooftops:
I love Broadway!
After a long pause during the pandemic, the Broadway theater district is alive and well.
So…it’s time to come home.
Students: we want you to be there with us—this fall—in the heart of the celebration.
Come join us in NYC for Broadway Homecoming.
Do whatever it takes to be there—get a part-time job to earn extra cash, sell a bike you don’t need, ask grandpa for a loan, carpool and share a hotel room with a friend, whatever it takes—to get yourself to NYC for this experience. Hustle and make this happen for yourself.
Because this is a weekend you don’t want to miss.
Students, we know you’ve been waiting for this.
Online education is great, but there is nothing that compares to the power of being together in-person—face to face.
Reserve your spot soon because this weekend masterclass will undoubtedly sell out quickly.
See you in NYC!
My all,
Robert Hartwell

Broadway Homecoming is a program presented by The Broadway Collective, a musical theatre education company based in NYC.
With Broadway Homecoming, students (ages 12 to 18) get a spectacular weekend of live in-person training in NYC including dance, voice, acting, and audition masterclasses with our world-class Faculty.
Students also receive tickets to a Broadway show—and participate in a Sharecase Performance where they perform live in front of an audience. Parents are welcome to come watch!
Our mission is to leave each student with stronger artistic skills, greater confidence and an accelerated work ethic that is required to *make it* in the competitive theatre industry.
Broadway Homecoming is brought to you by The Broadway Collective—Broadway’s elite musical theatre training academy based in New York City.
Founded in 2015, we provide curriculum based musical theatre training, results driven college prep, and career mentorship to serious musical theatre students.
Our students are accepted into the top BFA Musical Theatre college training programs in the country with scholarships and we even have alumni from our programs, excelling in their careers on Netflix and HBO.
Our teaching faculty includes Tony Award and Grammy Award-winning artists. Our students learn how to “put in the work” from artists who are where they want to be – Broadway.
We’re known for producing life changing events that are moving, inspirational, and rooted in “doing the work” —and Broadway Homecoming will be no exception.
Broadway Homecoming will be located in Midtown Manhattan.
This in-person intensive in NYC will cover:
– Dance, voice, acting, and audition skills. Bring your skills to the next level with masterclasses and personalized feedback from our faculty.
– Wellness for musical theatre artists. How to stay physically and mentally strong in this demanding industry, and enjoy a long, injury-free and sustainable career in the arts.
– The business of Broadway and Broadway as a career. Everything you need to know about the billion-dollar musical theatre industry, including career paths, typical salaries, health insurance, retirement packages, unions—the realities of working in this field.
– Your training plan. What a training plan for a serious musical theatre student needs to look like—and sample plans/schedules to follow.
– The path to Broadway. Why a college degree in musical theatre is a crucial piece of your path, which colleges are best, and how to increase your chances of excelling within the Broadway community.
Our faculty includes award-winning Broadway performers, Directors, Producers, and Choreographers.
The majority of our faculty members have worked in a Broadway show within the last 1-3 years.
This means that students get to learn from artists who are actively working in the industry.

We don’t believe in the word “can’t”. We want you to become a more versatile performer. The most successful Broadway artists are well-rounded and well-trained in all disciplines. We are here to help you develop a strong work ethic and a hunger to learn.
Come with a positive attitude and willingness to embrace all elements of training!
The VIP Upgrade includes:
2 DINNERS WITH ROBERT HARTWELL
On Friday night from 5-7 PM, you will go with Robert to one of his favorite restaurants in the theatre district. Each student will be able to bring a parent with them. Then on Saturday night, you will have a VIP-only dinner with Robert before you rejoin the group for the pre-show dessert and Mrs. Doubtfire on Broadway. Each student will be able to bring a parent with them.
+ PRIVATE HEADSHOT SESSION
On Friday afternoon, you will have a headshot session with our photographer Julianna to capture a brand new headshot for your upcoming auditions. Includes 2 fully retouched shots.
Again, we don’t believe in the word “can’t.” Our founder Robert Hartwell came from a single-parent household where money was very tight.
At a young age, he figured out how to raise the money he needed to invest in his arts education. You can do this, too.
Check out Robert’s e-book 10 Ways to Carve Out Time and Money for Your Dream.
Read that book. It’s free. Inside, you’ll find tons of ideas on how to earn (or raise) the money you need! You’re creative and resourceful. We know you can do this!
Masks may be required for some events at Broadway Homecoming. All participants are required to show proof of vaccination unless disability prevents vaccination. These requirements are based on the current state of COVID-19 and are subject to change based on CDC recommendations.
There are no refunds or cancellations. See our Terms + Conditions.
