When she has her first almost kiss, the dream of stepping outside of her comfort zone seems all the more tantalizing. “Just Outside” takes place moments after the almost kiss in one of Hampton Court’s gardens.

Song
"Quiet"

“The original inspiration for QUIET was autobiographical. I used to never stand up for myself and I’d let people walk all over me in an effort to make everyone like me. But I reached the point where I just couldn’t anymore and the song is about finding our own strength to finally stand your ground and make decisions for yourself rather than decisions based off of what other people want you to do.” -Jonathan Reid Gealt

Song
"Whatever I Want It To Be"

“Also, the original inspiration was autobiographical. It was what sparked the whole idea for my 3rd album. I got tired of people telling me I was only one type of composer because I grew up in theater. So the whole idea of my 3rd album was to make every song a different style. Be it rock, jazz, blues, pop, threaded musical theater scene/song, acoustic, singer/songwriter or acapella. Every song was a different style on that album as a way to prove to myself that I could write more than just contemporary musical theater and pop. None of us are bound by anything so literally the sky is the limit when it comes to your imagination. So let it run wild.” -Jonathan Reid Gealt”

Note: Feel free to sing this as a solo!
