Musical theatre is a fiercely competitive industry.
Thousands of young artists move to New York City every year, hoping to make it on Broadway. Only a few make the cut.
If you are determined to build a successful career in musical theatre, then you need the most elite training, mentorship, and coaching on earth.
“Decent” or even “very good” training is not enough. You need the best.
You need a rigorous program that prepares for you the realities of this industry.
You need to work with award-winning Broadway artists, choreographers, and casting directors, and learn from the best in the business.
Most of all, you need to be 100% committed to this path. There is no room for halfway commitment on Broadway.
You need to be All In.
- Students Ages 12-25
- 1 Year of Curriculum including 4 core broadway collective Programs
- All Online
- Weekly Feedback from Your Personal Broadway Coach
Over the course of 1 year, ALL IN students go through an exciting curriculum that covers every aspect of Musical Theatre.
Students hone skills onstage (dance, voice, acting, storytelling, charisma) and offstage (work ethic, consistency, follow-through, professionalism, developing a brand identity, and building a professional network).
ALL IN shapes you into the strongest artist you can be—ready to walk into auditions with confidence, leave a powerful impression, and make a name for yourself.
Is this program demanding? Yes. Is this for everyone? No.
But if you want to be on Broadway stages one day, and having a thriving career in the arts, ALL IN is for you.
"If I hadn't gone ALL IN, I don't think I would be able to do my favorite part of performing."
“My favorite part of performing is helping the audience feel something that maybe they couldn’t have felt before. And I just want to be able to make that happen again. And if I hadn’t gone ALL IN and if I hadn’t been training during this time, I don’t think I would be able to do that in 2021.”
Mia, All In Student
"I'm a lot more comfortable picking up choreography."
“Within my dance, I’ve definitely seen growth. I’m a lot more comfortable in a room picking up choreography. With this college audition season, I have to learn dances on YouTube, and they’re all taught in a similar way that our dances are taught to us in Hello Broadway. It’s really nice to have that skill already.”
Rebecca, All In Student
"I feel like a part of the greater community, and I feel like I actually can contribute."
“When I first found The Broadway Collective, I was really sold on working with Broadway performers. But as I’ve worked with them more, what keeps me coming back is the amount of community and love that they provide. I know, walking into any of their programs, that they know every single student’s name- they know who you are, and what work you’ve done. I feel like a part of the greater community, and I feel like I actually can contribute.”
Kurtis, All In Student
POWERFUL TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS
100% of our ALL IN students either passed their college prescreen auditions or got into of their top-choice college programs to study Musical Theatre.
These are colleges that receive hundreds or even thousands of applicants—and only select a few dozen young artists. Our students are among the ones getting those coveted spots.
Broadway Collective students stand out from the crowd with their remarkable preparation, professionalism, positive attitude, and artistry, and have a clear competitive edge.
OUTSTANDING, AWARD-WINNING FACULTY
At The Broadway Collective, you learn from the best. We have Tony Award and Grammy Award winners and nominees on our Faculty. It’s a star-studded lineup to say the least!
You get trained by Faculty members who are currently or recently employed in a Broadway show or National Tour, including artists from hit shows like Hamilton, Hadestown, Dear Evan Hansen, Wicked, Newsies, and dozens of other shows that you love.
Learn what it takes to succeed in Broadway—from performers who are in the trenches, going to auditions themselves, walking their talk, and working on Broadway right now.
DEEP COMMITMENT TO YOUR SUCCESS
At The Broadway Collective, you are never just a number or random face in the crowd. We are a tight-knit family. We go above and beyond for our students in every way we possibly can.
We accept a limited number of students into our programs each year. We get to know each student (and their family) closely and deeply.
We expect full commitment from our students, and we give full commitment to you in return.
You need a letter of recommendation for college? A shoulder to cry on after a tough audition? Tips on where to find affordable housing in NYC? A personal introduction to a talent agent? We’ve got you.

Exclusive Benefits to Going All IN
All In happens online in our state-of-the-art training portal.
Attend classes, learn songs, choreography, and monologues, meet with your Coach, upload video assignments, and get feedback on your work—online. We are leaders in online musical theatre education.
We deliver an experience that is above-and-beyond anything you’ve seen before. We teach students how to set up an at-home practice, rehearsal, and performance space, so they can train at a professional level—from home."When the pandemic first started, Ava was like, 'Yep, I'm good' because of The Broadway Collective."
“The biggest growth I have seen in Ava is that in four months, we went from me hovering to her taking complete and total responsibility for her training. She takes care of everything. She handles her own communication. She asks her own questions now, which she wasn’t doing at first. She takes her own feedback and uses it. She sets up her own practice time and schedule that she’s accountable for. It’s the life skills that go along with the training that make such a difference.”
Kelly, All In Parent to Ava
"It's the life skills. It's the mentoring. It's the sense of belonging to a group of people.'"
“It’s the life skills. It’s the mentoring. It’s the sense of belonging to a group of people, even though you’re not in the same zip code or same part of the country. Our daughter is in the company of like-minded people who have similar goals, and they are so encouraging to one another. It is just a great experience.”
Pam and Dale, All In Parents to Glory
"The Broadway Collective is ALL IN with each individual person."
“What I love about The Broadway Collective is that they’re ALL IN with each individual person. They’re not just teaching to a room full of kids. They are teaching to each and every individual student. That, to me, is so impressive, and so gratifying to see as a parent.”
Kathy, All In Parent to Maddie
Broadway pros teaching you...
Dance
A powerful singing voice, alone, is not enough to make it on Broadway. You also need to dance proficiently in a variety of styles and be able to memorize choreography quickly. Learn Broadway choreography that will push you into being the diverse dancer Broadway requires.
Acting
Anyone can sing a high note. Anyone can get their leg up. The secret sauce is doing it while telling a story. Through monologue, scene study, and audition sides coaching, we bring your artistry to the next level.
Vocal
Being a Broadway singer is different from being a pop, rock, or folk singer. You need tremendous range and versatility—and vocal stamina to get through long rehearsal sessions and 8 shows a week. We show students how to sing sustainably and avoid vocal trouble.
Audition Technique
From the initial cattle call to final callbacks, if you can’t walk into an audition room with confidence, this will be a very difficult business for you to navigate. We take students through mock audition workshops—giving you a competitive edge over everybody else in the room.
You’re probably accustomed to training in-person at a dance studio, school, or theatre. Maybe you’ve never experienced online Musical Theatre training before!
Students and parents consistently tell us that they were skeptical about online training, at first, but quickly realized that the Broadway Collective provides an experience that is unlike anything they’ve seen before.
You’ll see that training online can be just as good (and in some ways, even better) than training face-to-face in a studio.
“I was surprised by how well I was able to connect with the students and teachers through a screen. It almost felt like we were there in person.”
Tomi, All In Student
“To anyone who doesn’t believe it would work online, allow yourself to be surprised and your expectations to be exceeded!”
Ellie, All In Student
“The virtual experience is amazing. I would tell someone who says it couldn’t work online to take a leap of faith and experience it, allow it to change you. The work WORKS!”
Jackson, All In Student
“I was amazed by the success of the online program. My daughter was energized even though she was in front of a screen all day! Having access to people in smaller groups was an amazing benefit of being online. She would definitely not hesitate to do the program again online, and I wouldn’t hesitate to support that decision.”
Michelle, ALL IN Parent to Lilly
“We were literally blown away not only by the professionalism of the staff, but the incredible heart they bring to what they do. Robert has created a truly one-of-a-kind opportunity that will leave your child inspired to not only be a better performer but a better person.”
Sarah, ALL IN Parent to Brooke

Exclusive Benefits to Going All IN
F A Q
All In is the program for students who are ready to take their training to the next level. All In students get the benefits of participating in all our top programs Hello Broadway, Hello Broadway Live, Broadway’s Open and Gathered. On top of these programs there are also special events throughout the year just for our All In students. Students in this program will be put in special pods with our best coaches getting even more hands on attention.
Whether you have never stepped foot in a dance studio or have performed in over 50 shows, the Broadway Collective meets students where they are in their process. The ALL IN program is designed for students who are serious about pursuing a musical theatre career. Any passionate student ages 12 and up can register!
Nope! There is no audition required for our programs.
With a $95 deposit, ALL IN is $795 for 12 months.
We recommend setting aside 3-5 hours a week for ALL IN work. Some weeks will be more rigorous, especially during Gathered. We keep the academic school season in mind as we plan our programming. We’re all about quality, not just quantity.
When you register your child for this program you also gain access to special parent programming just for you! We provide parent-only informational sessions throughout the year. We create a community for you to participate in and connect with other parents. Get practical info about what it takes to succeed in this industry. Ask all your questions about college, scholarships, auditions, Broadway salaries and benefits, the theatre industry, actor’s unions, life in NYC—and get honest answers. Learn how to support your child during exciting times (leading roles!) and hard times (tough auditions and rejection) and everything in between.
Behind every successful artist is a parent saying, “I believe in you.” Parents, we applaud you, and we’re here for you.
For the past five years, we have been the leading experts in online arts education, and our preparation paid off during the COVID-19 pandemic. We work with the top industry professionals and leading arts educators to provide excellent training to our students. Through our online educational platform Canvas, we are able to connect with students around the world and provide them with a direct connection to Broadway professionals and top tier musical theatre training.
We have many students who have the same worry when it comes to raising funds! At this time we do not offer any scholarships but we are always happy to help create a payment plan. Our founder Robert Hartwell came from a single-parent household where money was very tight. At a young age, he figured out how to raise the money he needed to invest in his arts education. You can do this, too.
If you have any other questions please feel free to email hello@bwaycollective.com.
