is hello broadway live for you?
Let's see..
- You’re a Musical Theatre-obsessed teen, ages 12-18.
- You are interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts–on Broadway, in Hollywood, maybe both!
- You want more confidence in one, two, or all three disciplines (acting/singing/dancing)
- You think getting into a top college to study theatre would be AMAZING (especially with a big scholarship!)
- You want to train with the best of the best.
- You want to be pushed to realize your full potential as a person and artist.
- You’re kind to others. You’re not a bully. You will bring positivity and light into the room.
If that sounds like you, we want to see you at Hello Broadway Live!
At Hello Broadway Live, we cultivate a supportive, positive space for you to be challenged and encouraged. There is no good or bad–only discovery, curiosity, hard work, and celebration.

The SCHEDULE
8am
Check-In
We will send details about room number and check-in location at the venue a week before your day with Hello Broadway Live.
8:30–9am
Welcome + Warmup
Welcome to Hello Broadway Live! We will make introductions, set intentions for the day, and then waste no time in getting our energy up for the day ahead.
9–10am
Dance Call
You will be immersed in Original Tony Award-Winning Broadway choreography. Don’t be fooled into thinking that singers get “mover combinations” at Broadway auditions–absolutely not! You will be pushed out of your comfort zone to learn at NYC speed so that you see the work that is ahead of you.
10–11am
Audition Workshop
Storytelling is the basis of Musical Theatre. Anyone can sing a high note. Anyone can get their leg up. The secret sauce is doing it while telling a story–and not letting the nerves take over. Through audition sides coaching and mock audition, we will get you ready to walk into any audition room with confidence.
11am–12pm
Vocal Masterclass
Booking the job is about nailing your 16-bar vocal audition. In this vocal performance masterclass, you will learn how to warm up your voice and what makes a great audition song. The best part? You will walk away with a new audition song, sheet music in hand, to bring into any audition with confidence.
11am–12pm
Parents Only Session
We know you have those questions that you don’t want to ask with your kid around. Robert and his mother Elizabeth will be with the parents for an hour to have an honest dialogue about the industry, New York City, and further education!
12–1pm
Student Sharecase Performance
Time to celebrate! Parents are invited back to watch a presentation of everything our students have learned together. This isn’t a “showcase” – our students have learned a new mindset to approaching the work. We call this “sharing your new starting point!”
1–2pm
Broadway Q&A
You have questions, we have experience to share! To end the day, we will all sit together and you’ll be able to ask our faculty questions about the business and their journey to where they are today.

Bailey is now on the Kimberly Akimbo National Tour
Bailey has participated in Hello Broadway Live, and Gathered NYC
Bailey SAYS:
“I am known to be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the Performing Arts world. My Ah-ha moment was when Kate Lumpkin told me: “you don’t always have to be perfect! You don’t have to belt that high note if it doesn’t feel right for you. You don’t have to be the best dancer in the room… AS LONG AS you put in the work and show up, you will succeed. We truly are a family. I cherish every single person and friend I make at The Broadway Collective. These are my people, these are the people that I will work with and make connections with for the rest of my life.”

Nicholas is a student at the University of Michigan
Nicholas has participated in Hello Broadway Live and now works professionally in NYC

“The Broadway Collective was such an enlightening experience for me. Getting to take dance and vocal classes from these instructors helped me realize what it is like in New York. The instructors that I learned from at The Broadway Collective are truly the best and are working professionals at what they teach. After the workshop, I felt empowered to work even harder at everything I do. Seeing the work ethic of these professionals was so inspiring to me and everyone else in the room.”

They say this experience will change your life…AND THEY DON’T LIE! The staff at this company is the most incredible group of humans. They strive to give their students an education, while still showing that you need love and joy throughout your life. What this company did for me, I cannot express with words how grateful I am to have found them. 1,000 thank you’s to this team.”

Alana got accepted to USC and now stars on TV
Alana participated in Hello Broadway Live and Gathered
Alana SAYS:
“My training with The Broadway Collective is different from the training that I’ve received back home because THEY PUSH. It’s not about the applause you get at the end of the day. It’s about the PUSH. And that’s different from anything I’ve ever experienced because I’m not performing for applause anymore. I’m performing to grow. The Broadway Collective won’t just clap for me and say “woo-hoo you did good,” they’re going to tell me where I can be, they’re going to push me until I get there, and they won’t let me be comfortable in my comfort zone. They’re going to push me way beyond that.”

Jack got accepted and is a student at Marymount Manhattan
Jack participated in Hello Broadway Live and Gathered
Jack Says:
“When I met The Broadway Collective, I was this musical theatre kid who had just gotten started. They boosted my confidence but also showed me that I HAD TO WORK. They have pushed me and made me confident in my own work. I never felt like they weren’t there for me, but I also knew that they were there to PUSH me to be the best version of myself all the time.”

Adamaris is a current student at Oklahoma University
Adamaris participated in Gathered, Hello Broadway Live, and Hello Broadway
Adamaris SAYS:
“The Broadway Collective community has shown me that it’s not about being perfect. It’s not about whether you mess up or do it wrong. It’s about growing as a person, and as an artist and putting your best foot forward. And just, bringing yourself to others and letting people enjoy YOU. I feel full of love and confidence. I’m ready to work harder. I’m ready to go to the next step of my training and my performance life. I’m going to be ready.”

Valerie landed the lead role
Valerie has participated in Hello Broadway Live and Gathered
Valerie SAYS:
“I have seen huge growth in my confidence and self love since I’ve started training with The Broadway Collective. I have been working harder than ever before. I’ve learned to be fearless and to work hard. They treat you like a professional, and they really push you outside of your comfort zone. This program is different because it’s so real. They’re not going to sugar-coat anything, and you get true, honest feedback. The only way to grow is to do something scary and hard, and I’ve definitely done that here.”
